Chicago Cutlery Mom Ambassador

I love working ambassador programs because it lets me really get to know a brand and their product. So I’m happy to announce that I’ve been chosen to be a Chicago Cutlery Mom Ambassador! And over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my experiences with the set of Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives that I received.

I love cooking and baking (as you can see by my recipe section here) and I know how important it is to have quality kitchen tools and accessories to work with. That’s probably most evident when it comes to kitchen knives. Whether it’s chopping vegetables for a side dish or cutting chicken breast for dinner, quality can make a big difference.

I don’t think I realized just how big of a difference until my set of Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Knives arrived.

Features include:

  • Innovative grip that guides your hand for superior control and cutting
  • Ultra sharp for effortless cutting
  • High quality Japanese steel blades
  • Laser etched dots on the bolster
  • Full lifetime warranty with every knife

When the description says these knives are “ultra sharp,” they weren’t kidding.  I was amazed at how quickly and easily I was able to cut up carrots for dinner with them.

Now, I admit – as much as I enjoy cooking and baking, my knife skills… well they leave a lot to be desired. So I’m really looking forward to learning how to improve my knife skills as a Chicago Cutlery Mom Ambassador. And with these sleek knives, I can see it being really easy too.

For me, it’s pretty simple: I like cooking, but I rarely have hours to spend in the kitchen preparing culinary dishes of genius. Maybe someday, but not now. So that means that I need to take advantage of the time I do have to cook. And I’m excited to see how my new Chicago Cutlery knives will help improve my efficiency in the kitchen.

Do you have any tips regarding good kitchen knife skills?

Disclaimer: I wrote this review while participating in a Brand Ambassador Campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of ChicagoCutlery and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

We have Chicago Cutlery knives… they are not as nice and the ones you talk about here but they still do a great job. My favorite set of knives I have ever owned :)

  2. Thanks for letting me know about these knives. Congratulations!!! I love a good knife. They make chopping and slicing enjoyable. Remember never to put sharp items in the sink where you can’t tell what they are for you can grab and cut which I have done!!

  3. Congrats Erica! These are some really nice knives. One of these days I have to get some new knives but they’re so expensive. Thanks for the great review! :)

I have never tried Chicago Cutlery, but the knives look SO comfortable!! I kind of have knife phobia. I am always worried about chopping one or MORE of my fingers, so I know I do not use the proper knife to cut stuff. :/

  7. I have never tried Chicago Cutlery knives tho I grew up in Chicago and have heard great things about the company.
My tip…keep your knives sharpened, you can hurt yourself worse when trying to cut with a dull knife.

Very nice! I really like the grips. My hands are small and sometimes knives slip out of my hand becuase I can not get a good grip. I need knives badly! I will need to tell Santa about these. :) TY

  9. I visited many sites except the audio quality for audio songs current at this
    web page is genuinely excellent.
