Nathan’s Karate Achievement

I’m so proud: Nathan has earned his next belt in karate! His karate school does a combination of kung fu and Kajukenpo karate so he has been working on the kung fu portion and earned his yellow sash a year ago. Now recently he tested for the Kajukenpo karate portion and earned his yellow belt.

I had to laugh at this first photo because he was talking to Sensei (most likely about the color of the belt) and she was trying not to laugh. I don’t think you’re supposed to chat when you’re being awarded rank! But it’s such a Nathan thing to do!

  4. Erika,
Thank you for this article. It is always great to see children take the time and effort to move up in rank. Martial Arts is a great way for our children to get ready for their future.

Thank you for sharing and I wish you and Nathan continued success.

May God Bless you and your family.
